Today we head off to Ogata Koi farm this only takes approx 15-20 mins via a taxi, our first objection once there will be to check over all the fish houses to see which ponds we may potentially want to select from,.
We have learnt from the many years visiting Ogata Koi Farm, a pond we may have successfully selected from the previous year doesn’t automatically mean the same again the following year, so its so important to thoroughly look over every pond before diving in,
Generally we have opted to on the first day there select our baby koi, so i see no reason as long as they are there in the numbers and quality we need this will be the same again this year, so please do check back for updates later on any potential purchases we have made.
Today did prove a little more difficult than we had hoped for,but not for the quality just the quantity we were looking for, nether the less we are super pleased with these First Tosai we selected size approx 26-30cm if not slightly more some of them.
Belows Video of Ogata Tosai these will be offered for sale as soon as they come back and can be reserved then whilst they go through quarantine.
Another Bowl Of Superb Ogata Tosai very good quality for the price these will be so don’t miss out……!
The Following two videos are what we selected from Ogata’s best green house, these are all going to be grown on by us at our facility and offered for sale at both the National Koi Show, and The Great British Koi Show, by then we would expect these to be approx 26-30cm so will offer great value for the money especially for this quality.
Again these in the bowl below are to be grown on by us for the National Koi Show, and the Great British Koi Show.
Thats all from the Ogata Koi farm that we selected today, however we are going back there on Sunday to select from some more ponds, and also to select some really high quality Tosai, so make sure you come back and take a look then……..!
